We depart at 07:00. The tombs are far more comfortable in the morning and the Valley of the Kings is much quieter. By afternoon temperatures can reach 40°C with hundreds of visitors.
Bring at least 2 litres of extra water. Desert heat is dry but intense. We provide water in the vehicle, but extra is always wise — especially on Day 2 on the West Bank.
Outdoor photos: always free. Inside most tombs: small photo ticket (€1–2) at the entrance. Never use flash — it damages 4,000-year-old pigments on the wall paintings.
